The challenge
One of our biggest clients is seeking a Cryptography Specialist to strengthen its data protection and encryption capabilities. This role focuses on building secure foundations for sensitive information through robust cryptographic design and strategic key management across both on-premise and cloud environments.
In this role, you will:
- Define and execute encryption strategies covering data in motion, at rest, and in use
- Evaluate and implement industry-standard encryption technologies, including AES, RSA, TLS, and PKI
- Oversee the full lifecycle of cryptographic keys and certificates, ensuring secure handling and compliance
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to embed encryption into critical systems and applications
- Lead efforts around Hardware Security Module (HSM) integration and secure key storage
Your expertise
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Extensive experience with encryption technologies and tools (e.g., AES, RSA, SSL/TLS, PKI).
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic protocols and security frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of data in use encryption technologies.
- Experience with key management systems and practices.
Skills:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data encryption (e.g., FIPS, GDPR).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What you get
- Salary: Annual gross salary ranging from €72,000 to €85,000.
- Work Environment: Hybrid model, with 3 days a week in the office.
- Contract Type: Long-term position with visa sponsorship available; no relocation support.
