Help build and maintain the bank’s key data platform that keeps the business running.
You’ll be working at the heart of a leading financial institution, supporting critical data flows that feed into business reporting and analysis. You’ll help build and maintain the data platform that standardizes and structures data for a wide range of users.
You’ll work closely with other data engineers to ensure reliability, consistency, and scalability of the data solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines within the Azure environment.
- Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Work with large, complex datasets to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across platforms.
Your expertise
Hard skills
- 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining data solutions, preferably in Azure.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DevOps, Data Lakes, and Big Data concepts.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Data Warehousing (Kimball) and data modeling.
- Coding experience in Python, Scala, and/or PySpark.
- Relevant Data Engineering certifications are a big plus.
Soft skills
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- A helicopter view with the ability to dive into details when needed.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset focused on delivering maximum value for the (internal) customer.
- Professional-level English.
What you can expect
- Salary between €68,000 and €80,000 per year (based on 40 hours), including holiday allowance and 13th month.
- Hybrid working: 2 days a week in the office.
- Deta-vast contract with the possibility of an internal contract after 2,000 worked hours.
- We can sponsor a visa if needed, but relocation support is not available.
